Connect your Microsoft 365 or Google account with tick boxes

Connect your own account once, tick only the parts you want, and use them where you work: mail, calendar, contacts, files and meetings.

Steps

  1. Open Cloud accounts and press connect for Microsoft 365 or for Google. A list of parts appears with a tick box each. For Microsoft: Email, Calendar, Contacts, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams. For Google: Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, Drive and Meet.
  2. Tick only what you want. SISC asks the provider for permission for those parts only, as you; it never gets access to your whole company. Come back later to tick more, and the new parts are added to what you already allowed.
  3. Use them where you work. Attach a file from OneDrive or Drive when you write an email, add a Teams or Google Meet link when you schedule a meeting, import your contacts, and keep your calendar in step.
  4. Disconnect one part, or the whole connection. Disconnecting a part stops SISC using it; to remove the permission itself, do it in your Microsoft or Google account.
  5. With Google, Calendar, Contacts and Meet can be ticked straight away. Gmail and Drive are shown as available after Google verification: Google reviews any app that reads mail or files before it may be offered to everyone, and they switch on when that review is done.

Another Microsoft or Google account than the one already connected is refused. If the button says the connection is not set up, SISC has not yet registered its application with that provider on this installation; ask support.
