Refund a SISC payment (operators)
For SISC Group’s operators in Super Admin who hold the refund permission. A refund sends money back through the provider that took it — PayPal or Stripe — and records a credit note against the invoice.
Steps
- In Super Admin, open the customer, then Invoices, and open the paid invoice.
- Press Refund. Type the amount — the whole remaining balance or any part of it — and the reason. A refund can never be more than was paid, less what has already been refunded.
- Read the review and confirm. The money goes back through the provider’s own refund service, with a key that stops a double click or a retry from refunding twice; no card details are ever involved.
- The refund is listed under the invoice with its credit note number. The invoice stays paid and shows that it was partly or fully refunded.
If the provider refuses — the payment was already refunded, it is disputed, or it is past the provider’s time limit — the reason is shown in your language, no money moves and nothing is recorded as refunded. Only the refund permission, granted by name, allows this; no wider billing grant includes it.
