Check a supplier’s price list against your products and add the missing ones
Attach the pages of a supplier’s price list in the assistant — photos or a PDF — and it reads every row, compares each one with your products, and on one confirmation creates the products you do not have and records the supplier’s prices.
Steps
- Attach the pages and write what you want, for example “check these products and create the ones I do not have, with the price from Seder Company”, or press Compare with my products. You need permission to create products in Materials.
- The card lists every row. Same product — record the price means you already have the product, matched by its code, barcode or name, with its cost now beside the list’s price. A near spelling is marked to check: say if it is the same product or a new one.
- Rows you do not have are created as new products, with the list’s code or one suggested from the supplier’s name, which you can change. Choose the unit for the new products, then press the confirm button.
- The supplier’s price is recorded on every row, dated, so a later price rise stays visible. The new products take it as their cost; your selling prices are never changed.
- The supplier must be one of your suppliers for its prices to be recorded. If it is not, the card says so: the products can still be created, and you can add the supplier and read the list again.
After you confirm, the same card shows what happened to each row — created, already had, or not done and why — which is your comparison list. The pages are also kept in your SISC Library, in SISC AI.
