Set up a hotel

A property is ready to take a booking once it has room types, rooms and a rate. Do the three in that order, then take a first reservation.

You need

• hotel.rooms.create
• hotel.rates.create
• hotel.reservations.create

Steps

1. Open Hotel and go to Room Types. Create one type per kind of room you sell.
2. Go to Room List and add the physical rooms, each under its type.
3. Go to Rate Plans and create a rate plan so that a room has a price.
4. Take a first booking on Create Booking; it appears on Manage Bookings and on Room Chart.
5. On the day, Arrivals lists who is due and Guest Check-in checks them in; Reception Desk is the day’s overview.
