SISC Suite help centreGetting started

Every screen and control named on this page is checked against the product at build time. If a name here does not match your screen, your workspace is on an older release.

Connect your own domain

Your workspace always answers at its SISC address. You can also reach it at a domain you own — most companies use a subdomain, so their main website keeps working.

You need

  • platform.domains.update

Steps

  1. Open Domains in Company settings and press Add domain.
  2. Enter the Domain name. For example, portal.yourcompany.com
  3. The screen gives you two DNS records to add with your DNS provider: Step 1 — Prove the domain is yours and Step 2 — Point the domain at us. Add both — the first proves ownership, the second makes the address open your workspace.
  4. Press Verify. The status moves from Waiting for DNS to Live once both records are found; DNS changes can take a few hours to spread.

HTTPS on your own domain is switched on by SISC by hand — nothing issues it automatically. Once both records are in place, ask support to turn it on. We look again every time you press Verify, and report only what we actually find.
