Read what the period adds up to

Above the book sit four figures. Three of them are money, and the fourth is the reason to trust those three or to hold off.

You need

  • taxoffice.invoices.read

Steps

  1. Tax on purchases is the tax on what the client bought inside the period.
  2. Tax on sales is the tax on what they sold.
  3. Net position is what the two come to together — the figure a return is built on.
  4. All three count verified rows only. A figure the client typed and nobody has checked is not inside them, because a total that swallowed it would be the practice putting its name to the client’s arithmetic.
  5. Still unchecked is how many rows in this period are still in that state. Read it before you read the other three.

A period holding more than one currency is flagged rather than added across them: This period holds more than one currency, so the totals below cover only the main one.
