Record what the practice did about a notice

The notice is what the authority served. What you did about it is a separate record, kept beneath it, and this is how a line is added to that record.

You need

  • taxoffice.notices.read
  • taxoffice.notices.update

Steps

  1. Open the client, then press Open on the notice.
  2. Read what is already there. Entries are listed oldest first, each carrying the moment it was recorded.
  3. Write what was done in What was done. There is no list of kinds to choose from and no form to fill in — the box is for the sentence somebody reading this back in a year will have to go on.
  4. Press Record it. The entry is added to the end of the record and nothing already there moves.
  5. If the box is not there, you hold the reading permission and not the writing one, and the app says so: You can read this notice but not add to its record. That permission is granted by name.

Two notices take no entry at all: one that has been closed, and one with no date of service on it. Every deadline is counted from the day it was served, so the app will not build a record on top of a day it does not have.
