See what a client owes, and what is running out of time
What one client owes an authority and by when. Deadlines come from the client’s own country, never the practice’s.
You need
taxoffice.clients.readtaxoffice.filings.read
Steps
- Go to Filings and choose whose deadlines you are reading:
Filings are always read for one client. Choose whose deadlines to see.
- The list comes back soonest first. It is ordered by the day the return is due, not by when somebody typed it, because the question this screen answers is what is running out of time.
- The Time left column turns that day into one of five words: In hand, Due soon, Due now, Overdue or Missed. The server works it out against today, so it moves on its own overnight.
- Prepared and Reviewed each read Recorded or Not yet. Those two are what stands between a return and the authority.
- A return an authority sent back is not counted as done, and its original day still counts against it.
A client with nothing on record owed says so: Nothing is on record as owed to an authority for this client.
