Chat and join meetings in SISC Boardroom
Open Chat. Your conversations are on the left, the one you are reading in the middle.
Steps
- Type in the search box above the list to find a conversation by its name or topic, and press Unread to see only the ones with something new. A muted conversation is left out, as it has no badge.
- Your own messages sit on the right in blue, everybody else’s on the left with their initials; in Arabic the sides swap. A message that mentions you has a ring around it. Point at a message to reply in a thread, or to edit or delete one of your own.
- Press the panel button at the top of a conversation for Details: what kind of conversation it is, its topic, whether it is private or muted, its people, and the meeting it belongs to.
- While one of your meetings is on, or about to start, a bar above the conversations shows it with its time. Open opens the meeting in Boardroom; Join opens the meeting’s own link in Teams or Meet — SISC does not host the call itself. A meeting you declined, or one that was cancelled, never shows there.
- In the SISC Boardroom app for Windows, the screens are a narrow rail of icons down the side, so the conversation has the room. They are the same screens as in the browser.
Messages arrive within seconds, not instantly: the conversation is refreshed while you have it open.
