What is Meetings?
Meetings — Teams, channels, chat, agendas and minutes. Schedule a meeting, run it, and leave with decisions and owners recorded. SISC does not host the call itself — a meeting carries a real link to wherever your company already meets. On the App page it is listed under “Extra apps”. 8 of its screens are available today.
What screens does Meetings have?
Meetings ships these screens today:
- Overview: Dashboard
- Work: Chat · Upcoming · Schedule · Agendas · Minutes · Action Items
- Resources: Rooms
Being listed here means the screen opens today. On its own it does not mean every action on it is available — ask about the specific task, and where something is not built the answer says so rather than guessing.
Each screen opens for anyone who holds the permission in the last column. Being listed means the screen opens today; ask about the specific task if you need to know whether every action on it is available.
| Screen | Section | Permission needed |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard | Overview | meetings.dashboard.read |
| Chat | Work | meetings.chat.read |
| Upcoming | Work | meetings.meetings.read |
| Schedule | Work | meetings.meetings.create |
| Agendas | Work | meetings.agendas.read |
| Minutes | Work | meetings.minutes.read |
| Action Items | Work | meetings.actions.read |

Messages Meetings can show
Each message is quoted exactly as the product shows it. Most say what to do in the message itself; where one names a setting, the place to change it is the app’s own settings screen or Company settings.
That room is already taken then. Choose another room or another time.
{attendees} is already busy then. Pick another time, or invite them as optional.
That room is no longer there.
{name} is not in use at the moment.
Add a room or at least one required attendee, so the meeting takes somebody’s time.
That repeat pattern would never come round. Check the days and the end date.
A meeting can repeat daily, weekly or monthly. Allowed: {allowed}.
Nothing in this series could be scheduled from {startsOn}. Try another time or room.
That meeting is no longer there, or it is not yours to see.
This meeting is {status}, so it cannot be changed.
This meeting has lost its calendar entry. Please tell support.
Only the organiser can change this meeting. You can still reply to it.
You are not on this meeting.
Give the meeting a subject, so people know what it is.
A joining link has to start with https://.
It must end after it starts.
A start time is required.
A time must say which zone it is in, for example 2026-09-01T15:00:00Z.
That is not a valid date and time.
A meeting runs from 5 minutes to {max} minutes.
That is not a time zone we recognise.
You can accept, decline or answer tentatively. Allowed: {allowed}.
That conversation is no longer there, or it is not yours to see.
You are not in this conversation yet. Join it to read and post.
Give the channel a name.
That is not a kind of conversation. Allowed: {allowed}.
Open a direct message by choosing the person, not by creating a channel.
A direct message needs somebody else in it.
That message is no longer there.
A message can be up to {max} characters, and cannot be empty.
You can only change your own messages.
Replies go on the original message, so a thread stays readable.
The message you are replying to is no longer there.
That is not a status you can set. Allowed: {allowed}.
That invitation is no longer there, or it was not addressed to you.
That invitation has already been answered.
That conversation is no longer there, or it is not yours to see.
This conversation is not open. It is either waiting to be accepted, or it has ended.
Chatting with people at other companies needs a SISC sign-in of your own. Ask your administrator.
That is a lot of invitations in a short time. Please try again later.
The agenda could not be read. Each item needs a title.
There are no minutes to publish yet.
Say what the action item is.
This action needs a company account.
