Sync SISC Library to your computer with SISC Library for Windows
SISC Library for Windows keeps a folder on your PC in step with SISC Library, both ways: your own files, the company’s shared space and the folders colleagues share with you. Open and save files there with Word, Excel or any program; the changes go up on their own, and changes made in the browser come down.

Steps
- Download SISC Library for Windows from the Downloads page of sisc-suite.com, or from the App page’s Windows apps, and install it. Windows may say "Windows protected your PC" the first time, because the installer is not signed yet: choose "More info", then "Run anyway".
- Open it and sign in with the email and password you use for SISC Suite — no company address is needed. If your account uses two-step sign-in, enter the code from your authenticator app, or ask for one by email. If you belong to more than one company, choose the one to sync; the app remembers it, and Switch company changes it later. Your password goes only to SISC’s sign-in and is never kept on the PC. (A user name without an email, or a time when SISC’s sign-in cannot be reached: open “Use a company address instead” under the button.)
- Your files appear in the folder SISC Library in your user folder, under your company’s name, in three folders: your own files, the shared space, and what is shared with you. The first sync downloads everything you can open in Files.
- Work in the folder as usual. New, changed, renamed and moved files and folders are sent to SISC Library; what changes there arrives within a minute. The icon in the notification area shows Up to date, Syncing, Paused or what went wrong.
- If a file changed in both places before they could meet, both are kept: your copy is renamed “… (conflicted copy, PC name, date)” and uploaded beside the other, and nothing is overwritten.
- Deleting a file here moves it to the SISC Library recycle bin; one deleted in the browser goes to the Windows Recycle Bin here. Either can be put back. If very many files disappear at once, the app waits and tells you instead of deleting them on the other side.
- Files shared with you to view only are read-only here and are never sent back. A file SISC Library refuses — a type it does not store, one too large, or one the virus check stopped — is listed in the window under Not synced, with the reason.
- Click the SISC Library icon in the notification area for a small panel like OneDrive’s: the status, the last twenty things that were synced (click one to see the file in File Explorer), Open folder, View online, and a gear menu with Pause and Resume, Sync now, Settings, Switch company, Sign out and Quit. The folder also appears in File Explorer’s left-hand pane as “SISC Library - …”, with the SISC Library icon. Sign out from the window or the gear: syncing stops, the PC forgets your sign-in and removes the File Explorer entry, and the files stay in the folder.
Nobody sees more on their computer than in the browser: the app syncs exactly what your own permissions open in SISC Library. Each change it makes is recorded in the company’s audit log with this PC named. Not in this first version: files that stay in the cloud until opened (every file is downloaded), sync badges in File Explorer, and a Mac version.
