When the customer accepts or rejects a quotation
The link in the quotation e-mail lets your customer answer in one place: accept it with their name, or reject it and tell you why. A rejected quotation is not dead — you change it where it is and send it again, under the same number.

Steps
- Send the quotation with Send by e-mail from Quotations (or from Quotes in Accounting). The customer opens the link and sees the whole quotation in its own language.
- To accept, the customer types their name and presses I accept this quotation. To say no, they press Reject, type their name and the reason, and press Send my answer. Both are required. The page then thanks them, and the link cannot answer again.
- You are told at once: a notification goes to the salesperson and to whoever raised the quotation, and a follow-up appears in Follow with the quote number and the start of the reason.
- Open the quotation. Its status is Rejected by customer, and a banner shows who rejected it, when, and their reason. The same entry is in the quotation’s history.
- Press Edit draft and change what the customer asked for — lines, prices, terms or dates. It stays the same quotation with the same number; you do not need a revision. Every change is recorded, and the totals before your change stay in the history.
- Press Send again. The customer receives a new link, the old one stops working, and the follow-up closes by itself.
An accepted quotation stays locked. If you prefer a numbered revision, Revise is still in the More menu. A quotation you cancelled, or one past its date, cannot be answered from an old link — the customer is told so in their language.
