Find your way around from the till’s home screen

This is where POS opens, and it is a door to every part of the app rather than a wall of statistics. It carries no takings figure, on purpose.

Steps

1. Open POS. It lands on Dashboard by itself.
2. Each tile is one screen of the app. You are shown only the ones this shop has switched on AND your role may open, so two people at the same till can see different doors.
3. For the figures, go to Reports — takings belong on a screen that asks you for a period, because a number with no period on it is not an answer.
4. To start selling, the door you want is Terminal, and it will not take money until a shift is open on your register: Open a shift and count the float in.

A door you expected and cannot see is a permission or an unswitched module, never a broken page.
