Run an offer the till applies by itself
Standing offers the till applies by itself whenever it prices a sale. Each discount prints on the receipt under the offer's name.
The server prices every sale in the offer’s window with it, so no till can charge a different figure.

Steps
- Open Promotions and press New promotion. Give it a Name a customer will recognise — it is printed on the receipt.
- Choose the Kind of offer. For a multi-buy, say how many the customer takes and how many they pay for: takes two, pays for one is the classic evening bread offer. For a percentage, type the Percentage off.
- Under Applies to, pick the products or groups it covers, or everything on the till. A group includes the groups inside it.
- Tick the Days. If it runs for part of the day only, set From and Until in the shop’s own time — every evening from six is a start time with no end. Add a First day and a Last day for a season.
- Save. On Terminal the basket is priced with the offer as soon as it qualifies, and the discount shows under the line.
Offers do not stack: where two match, the one worth more to the customer applies. Returning part of an offer gives back that share of what was paid. While the till is offline it charges catalogue prices and says so, and those sales are kept without the offer.
