Park a sale and pick it up again

A customer who has gone back for the milk should not hold up the queue. Park the basket, serve the next person, recall it when they return.

You need

Steps

1. With the basket on Terminal, press Park sale. The till clears and is ready for the next customer.
2. Serve the queue as normal.
3. Press Recall sale and pick the basket out of the list. When there is nothing waiting the till says Nothing is parked.
4. Carry on where you left off — add or remove lines — and take payment as usual.

A parked sale is not a sale. There is no receipt for a parked sale — nothing has been sold yet and no number has been issued. What a held basket is called on your till depends on the kind of business your company set up: a shop holds a basket, a restaurant holds an open table.
