Ask “which milk?” with modifiers
The questions the till asks when a product is added — which milk, how many shots. The price of an option is added to the line.
You need
pos.modifiers.read
Steps
- Open Modifiers and press New modifier group. Name the group after the question the cashier will be asked.
- Under Options, use Add option for each answer. Give an option a price only if it costs more; an option with nothing to add adds nothing to the line.
- Say how many answers the cashier must pick, and how many they may. If none must be picked the question is optional; if at least one must, the till waits for an answer.
- Choose the products the question is asked for, and save. The group is saved whole, and anything that does not add up — a least above a most, too few options to satisfy it — comes back as a refusal you fix in the same drawer.
Changing modifiers needs pos.modifiers.manage. At the till the question appears when the product is added on Terminal, and the option’s price joins the line and is taxed with it.
