Every screen and control named on this page is checked against the product at build time. If a name here does not match your screen, your workspace is on an older release.

See what the shop took over a period

What this shop took, over a period you choose — by day, by till, by cashier or by product. This is where the figures live, which is why the home screen has none.

You need

  • pos.reports.read

Steps

  1. Open Reports and set From and To.
  2. Choose Break down by — by day, by till, by cashier or by product, depending on the question you are actually asking.
  3. Read across: Gross sales, Refunds, Net takings, Tax collected, Sales and Units sold.
  4. Note that refunds have a column of their own rather than being quietly taken off the takings — a day with heavy returns should look like one.

A sale lands on the day its shift opened, not on the clock date, so an empty period may be an off-by-one on a late shift: Pick another period, or ring a sale and it will appear here on the day its shift opened.
