Who you buy your stock from. This screen reads the suite’s one shared list rather than keeping a second copy of it.

You need

• pos.suppliers.read

Steps

1. Open Suppliers and use Search suppliers.
2. Each row gives the Name, the Email and the Phone — enough to chase a delivery from behind the counter.
3. You cannot add one from here, and the screen says exactly why rather than hiding the button: This is the whole suite’s list of who you buy from, so anyone added in CRM or Business Suite appears here. Adding one from the till is waiting on the pos.suppliers.create permission.
4. So a new supplier is added wherever that shared list is maintained, and appears here by itself.

To record what you paid one, use Expenses — Paid to is the field that names them.
