Every screen and control named on this page is checked against the product at build time. If a name here does not match your screen, your workspace is on an older release.

Run several branches and copy a set-up between them

Group your tills into branches, route the kitchen per branch, copy a branch’s set-up to a new one and see the whole chain on one screen.

Steps

  1. On Registers, add the branches with a name and a code, and give each till its branch. A till cannot change branch while a shift is open.
  2. Kitchen routing works per branch: a product has a role for the whole company, and each branch says which of its own stations serves each role. The kitchen display takes a branch.
  3. To set up a new branch like an old one, use copy setup. Choose a source (a branch, a till or a saved template) and targets, look at the preview, then apply it. It copies till templates, screen layouts and the kitchen set-up. It never copies cash, shifts, sales, devices, PINs, stock locations, the hotel outlet or the cost centre.
  4. When there are two or more branches, the POS home shows the chain dashboard: for each branch, today, this week so far and the same days last week, with net sales, transactions, average ticket, voids, refunds, cash over or short, open shifts, stock-outs and top items.
