Declare the tills that stand in this shop

The tills in this business, and whether anyone is on them. Every sale is stamped with the register it was rung on, which is what makes a report by till possible at all.

You need

• pos.registers.read
• pos.registers.create
• pos.registers.update

Steps

1. Open Registers and press New register.
2. Give it a Name somebody standing in the shop would recognise, and a Location if there is more than one counter.
3. Save. The Shift column then reads Open or Closed, so you can see at a glance who is trading.
4. Retire one that has gone by pressing Edit register and clearing Active; an Inactive register keeps every sale ever rung on it.
